Alta Vista Community Information
Alta Vista is a small neighborhood located southeast of Downtown Sarasota, Florida. The area of this community is bounded by Tuttle Avenue to the east, Bahia Vista Street to the south, a legacy rail line and Ringling Boulevard to the north, and Washington Boulevard/Tamiami Trail to the west.
The area is known for being home to some of Sarasota's top attractions, including Payne Park, the Sarasota Art Museum, and two iconic examples of Sarasota Modern architecture.

Real Estate
Alta Vista is a well-established neighborhood with many mid-century ranch homes, and even a few homes dating back to the 1920s. There is also an increasing amount of infills and rebuilds, many of which are done in modernist-styles.
There are two condo communities in Alta Vista: Citywalk and Park Lane, which are side-by-side on Wood Street.
A new residential development, Payne Park Village, is located east of Payne Park across School Avenue. This community complex will include 135 townhomes and single-family homes. Some of these units are already up for sale, so get in quickly to secure a chance at living in this excellent area.
