Lido Shores is a popular neighborhood because it has private, gated access to Lido Key Beach, and is minutes away from St. Armand's Circle, a shopping and dining haven with over 150 shops.

Less than a mile northeast is City Island, a small piece of land packed with attractions like Ken Thompson Park, Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium, and a number of marinas and boat launches.

To the north is Long Boat Key, a long barrier island boasting miles of beachfront, golf courses, and luxurious oceanside homes.

From Lido Shores, downtown Sarasota is approximately 10 minutes or 4 miles away via St. Armands, John Ringling, and Bird Key.
